For paid subscriptions, payment processing is handled by DodoPayments. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. We only receive:

• Process your subscription and manage your account
• Track your learning progress and implement spaced repetition
• Generate AI-powered quiz questions tailored to your skill level

• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

We use the following third-party services that may collect your data:

Supabase (Authentication & Database)

We use Supabase for user authentication and data storage. Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit.

OpenAI (AI-Generated Questions)

Quiz questions may be generated using OpenAI's API. We send minimal data (language, difficulty level) and do not share personal information with OpenAI.

DodoPayments (Payment Processing)

Payment processing is handled by DodoPayments. Please review their privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

Vercel (Hosting & Analytics)

AdaQuiz is hosted on Vercel. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure performance and improve user experience. These analytics are privacy-friendly and do not use cookies.

Upstash Redis (Rate Limiting)

We use Upstash Redis for rate limiting to prevent abuse. Only anonymous request identifiers are stored temporarily.

AdaQuiz uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication and core functionality (session management, security)
• Analytics Cookies: Vercel Analytics to understand usage patterns (no personal identification)
• Preference Cookies: Store your theme preference (light/dark mode)

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

We retain your data as follows:

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
• Quiz History: Stored indefinitely to track learning progress
• Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data retained for service improvement

• Correction: Update inaccurate information (via Settings)
• Deletion: Delete your account and associated data (via Settings → Danger Zone)
• Portability: Export your quiz history and performance data (Pro plan)
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails (we don't send marketing emails)
• Object: Object to certain data processing activities

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Database encryption at rest via Supabase
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to isolate user data
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse and brute force attacks
• Regular security audits and dependency updates
• Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to prevent XSS attacks

AdaQuiz is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at privacy@adaquiz.online.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Our service providers (Supabase, Vercel) use data centers located in the United States and European Union. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of AdaQuiz after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
